Respond were engaged by David Reid Homes Auckland Central to design this development of five bespoke terraced homes on a very tight and complex site in Greenlane, Auckland. Challenges of this narrow site included a steep slope, public services pipes, and a stunning protected Pohutukawa tree with a large root and canopy zone at the front of the property. The resulting design maximises the use of the site while prioritising privacy, outlook and sunlight, whilst delivering spacious open plan living spaces and generous bedrooms.
